Macciocca Monocromo #3 Rosato 2021

A strikingly unfiltered rosato on the orange-y side of pink, 'Monocromo #3' glows a beautiful, cloudy peach color in the glass. Salty grapefruit on the nose, with fresh citrus rind, apricot, and quince, and a light,  alluring smokiness. This rosé has it all — sweet, sour, and savory — and leans into the dried grapefruit peel, pink peppercorn, and a strong — almost tropical — strawberry note laying over the whole thing, with a bit of herb and spice on the finish. A perfect balance of bright floral notes with a mineral undertone and a touch of fun and funky stone fruit. Tart, tangy, and eminently tasty.
