Damijan Ribolla Gialla 2021

Likely the most structured and nuanced of Damijan's whites, the 2021 Ribolla Gialla wafts up with minty freshness, as nuances of lemon oil and wildflowers are joined by a whiff of crushed stone. It is juicy up front yet quickly gains in tension as crisp orchard fruits cascade across a crunchy mineral core and exotic spices resonate over a citrusy concentration on the finish. As good as this is today, the best is yet to come; this will be a great wine to watch over the next decade.
