André’s vintage ‘Blanc de Meunier’ is 100% Pinot Meunier (quelle surprise) that is raised in stainless before bottling; it spends three years on the lees and receives no dosage, yielding a pure and fresh expression of the grape. Tantalizing aromas of Nashi pear, Pippin apple, cinnamon, jasmine, and rhubarb lead on a super expressive nose, building to a palate marked by a refreshing bitterness balanced by bright tropical fruits and pineapple. Perfectly expressive of variety and terroir, this might be the perfect ‘no occasion’ Champagne – happy hour, anyone?
